Process Technician (Automated Environment)

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing organization specializing in innovative product solutions, is seeking a Process Technician with Automated expertise for 1st shift to join their dynamic team. As a Process Technician you will be an integral part of the Manufacturing Operations supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork, which will align successfully within the organization.

Fremont, California

Pay Range: $29-33/hr., dependent on experience

What's the Job?

  • Own Non-Conformance process
  • Support manufacturing operations by maintaining and optimizing mechanical and chemical processes to ensure high product quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot out-of-control processes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Qualify new equipment and processes, manage non-conforming materials, and support continuous improvement initiatives such as yield enhancement and scrap reduction.
  • Perform routine equipment repairs, support line configuration, and collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to meet production goals.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives, manage parts and tools inventory, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

What's Needed?

  • Associate Degree in Electronics, a technical certificate, or equivalent industrial/manufacturing experience.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proven ability to analyze test data, malfunctions, or deviations and assist with process corrections.
  • Proficient with the use of various hand and portable tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
