Pay: $60/hr-$65/hr
Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Technician II to support the final testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electromechanical equipment. This role will be responsible for identifying equipment issues, performing electrical testing, analyzing system data, and maintaining technical testing documentation to ensure equipment meets quality and functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and troubleshoot electromechanical equipment issues.
- Perform basic electrical testing, including:
- Voltage measurements
- Resistance testing
- Continuity testing
- Isolation testing on sensitive equipment
- Execute scripts and queries through a command-line interface (CLI).
- Interpret functional schematics and circuit diagrams.
- Analyze CAN bus/network data for system diagnostics.
- Use hand tools and testing equipment during troubleshooting activities.
- Maintain and update existing test and troubleshooting documentation.
- Identify, document, and communicate both known and newly discovered equipment issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve technical problems.
- Follow established safety, quality, and testing procedures.
- 2+ years of experience working with electromechanical systems or equipment.
- Demonstrated experience with equipment troubleshooting and issue triaging.
- Hands-on experience with electrical testing and hand tools.
- Ability to interpret schematics and circuit diagrams.
- Experience with CAN bus tools and data logging systems.
- Familiarity with command-line interfaces and executing basic scripts or queries.
- Strong documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in semiconductor, electronics, robotics, automotive, or other high-tech manufacturing environments.
- Experience with equipment testing, validation, or final assembly testing.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with test automation, diagnostic software, or data analysis tools.
