Cabinet maker

Cabinet maker must have some experience in woodworking, and a cabinet maker is preferred. Ideally, an individual must be self-motivated and dependable. Full-time. Advance your career, are you looking to learn new skills.

• 1. Work with the shop foreman to ensure that all necessary tools, equipment, material, and labor are available to keep the job running smoothly
• 2. Inventory materials when received at the shop
• 3. Shop safety is a priority clean up, cutoffs, disposal of garbage, and stock storage lock up
• 4. Practice 100% safety standards at all times, safety glasses are mandatory at the shop

• 5-7 years of experience as a cabinet maker/woodworker
• Mid-level 3-5
• Proficient use of all tools/equipment
• Router, chop saw, table saw, hand tools
• Able to read shop drawings for cutting materials, sanding, assembling cabinets and accessories
• Ability to work independently
• Able to complete task list in the order given
• Basic plan reading ability, identification of measurements, layout, ability to use a scale, and identification of basic scope of work.
• Able to communicate client if necessary
• Phone, paper, and verbal
• Basic knowledge of other trades
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English (Spanish is an asset)
• Clean DMV record and a valid driver's license
• Must provide own hand tools, tool bags per attached
• Able to deliver cabinets to job sites
