This position requires access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the successful candidate must be a "U.S. person" as defined in the ITAR and EAR (which generally means (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) have been admitted to the United States as a refugee, or have been granted asylum, as specified under applicable law.

Main Functions

The Master Scheduler III owns the site master production schedule and translates customer demand into an executable production plan. This role leads capacity and constraint planning, supports Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP), and aligns customer commitments with manufacturing capacity, material availability, inventory strategy, and financial objectives.

The position serves as the planning lead across Operations, Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales. It identifies schedule risks, develops recovery plans, models capacity scenarios, supports capital and staffing decisions, and drives planning discipline through ERP/MRP accuracy, standard work, and measurable KPIs.

The role also oversees assigned purchasing and supplier-planning activities to protect continuity of supply while controlling inventory investment.

Typical Duties

  • Own, publish, and maintain the site master production schedule across the planning horizon.
  • Translate backlog, forecasts, inventory targets, and capacity into executable production priorities and release plans.
  • Lead rough-cut and detailed capacity planning; identify constraints and maintain executable schedules for critical work centers.
  • Develop recovery plans for material shortages, equipment downtime, labor limitations, engineering changes, and demand shifts.
  • Facilitate cross-functional schedule reviews and communicate priorities, risks, decisions, and required actions.
