Position Summary:
Based in Fremont, CA the Braze Assembly C will perform essential job functions associated with heat treatment under the direction of the Assembly Lead person to meet customer specifications including assisting other employees as needed.
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following.
Receiving and inspection of customer parts for brazing.
Preparation of customer parts for brazing according to blueprints and specifications, including cleaning and assembly.
Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
Must work in a manner consistent with the EMS.
This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
Preforms other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.

Education – High school diploma or equivalent
0-2 years of experience in brazing
Must be able to read blueprints/specifications
Must be able to wear safety equipment as required.
Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
Knowledge and hands on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is required.
This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders.
The hours for this position are 9:00pm - 5:30am, Mon-Fri. Training is required on 1st shift; 5:00am - 1:30pm for approximately 2 weeks.
Physical & Mental Demands: The following physical and mental demands consist of, but are not limited to the following.
Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time (at desk, while driving, and/or on airplane travel) in an office/industrial environment.
Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
Ability to bend, pull, stoop, climb, twist, and reach to perform functions.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
Ability to hear in person and via phone.
Pay & Benefits InformationThe hourly pay range for this position is $23.00 – $25.00per hour. Starting pay is determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law.
