CNC Machinist II

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machinist II to join their team. As a Machinist II, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machinist II

Location: Fremont, CA

Pay Range: $35

Shift: 2pm-10:30pm

What's the Job?

• Perform machining and CNC operations according to Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions, and Quality Plans in the cell.
• Communicate daily with team members and other facilities to ensure smooth production flow.
• Support production by setting up and operating machines while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Run production jobs, including ‘Single Flow’ Cell Production, efficiently and accurately.
• Develop fixtures and tooling for rapid prototypes and proof of concept parts, ensuring quick turnaround times.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in programming CNC lathes and mills, with familiarity in Mastercam a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering designs and specifications.
• Working knowledge of inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
• Willingness to work overtime, including occasional weekends, to meet production demands.
