Gas and Chemical Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the electronics manufacturing industry, is seeking a Gas & Chemical (Megasys Technician) with Logistics to join their team. As a Gas & Chemical Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting inventory management, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Gas & Chemical (Megasys Technician) with Logistics

Location: Fremont, CA

Pay Range: $28.50-$32/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST

• Support and lead inventory activities related to gas and chemical usage, including receiving and returning cylinders and ampoules.
• Manage inventory ordering processes and document shipments accurately.
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials safely.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations, fostering a zero-incident culture.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for over 2000 pieces of distribution equipment across various vendors.

• Ability to lift and move cylinders and ampoules weighing over 50 lbs.
• Experience with inventory management, documentation, and reporting.
• Forklift certification and barcode experience are a plus.
• Knowledge of gas, chemical, or slurry equipment operations and maintenance.
• Strong adherence to safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
