Material Handler; Swing Shift

Job Description

Ichor Systems, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support production operations here in Fremont, CA. The Material Handler is responsible for the timely movement, storage, and distribution of materials, components, and finished goods to support production and operational requirements. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains a safe work environment, and supports business objectives through efficient material handling practices during the swing shift.

Material Handler

Monday through Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm

• Receive, verify, and store incoming materials and inventory.
• Accurately pick, stage, and deliver materials to production lines and designated work areas.
• Load, unload, and transport materials using material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified).
• Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records in company systems.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Monitor material levels and communicate shortages to supervisors and production teams.
• Package, label, and prepare materials or finished goods for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and safety procedures.
• Follow all quality standards, work instructions, and operating procedures.
• Support business ramp-up activities and changing operational priorities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer and inventory management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.

• Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar role.
• Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to work within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

• Manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution center setting.
• Exposure to moving machinery, material handling equipment, and varying temperatures.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as applicable.

The pay range for this position is $19.33 - $32.84 per hour, non-exempt. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
