One World One Family Foundation
, Global Headquarters – United States

Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Department: Executive Leadership

Reports to: Board of Directors

Role Summary

One World One Family (OWOF) seeks an inspiring and entrepreneurial Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its next stage of global expansion. The CEO will build OWOF into a globally recognized, U.S.

-headquartered nonprofit brand while driving a world-class fundraising program to strengthen and sustain our mission.

The CEO’s primary mandate is to:

  • Lead Major Fundraising Efforts at Scale - Engage high-net-worth individuals, donor-advised funds, foundations, corporations, family offices, and global philanthropic networks to secure transformational support.
  • Build Global Awareness and Elevate the Brand - Position OWOF as a respected humanitarian organization in the U.S. and internationally—leveraging storytelling, media, partnerships, and thought leadership platforms.
  • Strengthen and Support the Global Chapter Ecosystem (Strategic, Not Operational) - OWOF already operates in 100+ countries through an established global network. The CEO will provide alignment, tools, messaging, and inspiration—while not necessarily managing service projects or field programs.
  • This is a role for a leader who is equally comfortable operating with startup agility and global organizational presence. Someone with grit and entrepreneurial drive, but who can also represent a worldwide movement with professionalism, credibility, and heart.

    Key Responsibilities

    Fundraising & Philanthropic Development (Primary)

    • Build and execute an ambitious global fundraising strategy anchored in the U.S.
    • Cultivate deep, long-term relationships with:
      • High-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth donors
      • Family offices
      • Donor-advised fund managers
      • Grant-making foundations
      • Corporate CSR/ESG leaders
      • Philanthropic networks and giving circles
    • Lead major fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives.
    • Develop compelling cases for support, impact narratives, and donor engagement experiences.
    • Ensure sustainable financial health through diversified funding streams.
    Brand Building, Visibility & Influence
    • Position OWOF as a leading humanitarian brand in the U.S. and globally.
    • Drive media engagement, public relations, storytelling, and digital presence.
    • Build partnerships with influencers, thought leaders, institutions, and global ambassadors.
    • Represent the organization at conferences, philanthropic forums, and humanitarian gatherings.
    • Subtly elevate the values and teachings that inspire OWOF’s mission, without explicit religious or spiritual positioning in public communications.
Global Chapters, Network Alignment & Movement Growth
    • Support the continued growth of a “Rotary-style” worldwide membership and engagement model.
    • Ensure chapters have messaging, tools, and fundraising guidance that align with the global brand.
    • Strengthen cohesion across 100+ countries through communication, shared strategy, and unified storytelling.
    • Do not manage individual service projects—local chapters and partner trusts already lead those efforts.
    Organizational Leadership & Governance
    • Lead a lean, high-performing U.S.

-based HQ team with startup-style efficiency.
    • Build scalable systems and processes appropriate for a global organization.
    • Oversee budgets, financial management, and responsible stewardship.
    • Ensure compliance, transparency, and effective communication with the Board.
    Qualifications
    • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in philanthropy, nonprofits, foundations, or impact organizations.
    • Proven track record raising significant funds, especially in major gifts, foundations, and donor-advised vehicles.
    • Strong networks within:
      • HNWI/UHNWI communities
      • Family offices
      • Institutional donors
      • Corporate social impact leaders
    • Demonstrated ability to build brand visibility and public presence.
    • Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and comfortable building new systems, structures, and teams.
    • Skilled communicator, storyteller, and relationship-builder.
    • Experience with values-driven, humanitarian, or mission-based organizations is an advantage.
    • Must be U.S.

-based and able to travel internationally as needed.
