Washington Outpatient Surgery Center, LLC (WOSC) is a free-standing multi-specialty center with five operating rooms and two procedure rooms, open Monday through Friday. • Administer patient care primarily by conducting health screening phone calls for incoming patients
• Responsible for pre‑op interviews and telephone follow up
• Participate as a team member in support of the total perioperative process
• Communicate with team members regarding patient/family special needs and concerns
• Document pre‑operative interview according to EPIC navigator & facility policies
• Obtain any labs and pertinent patient records as needed prior to patients arrival/procedure
• Escalate information from patient interviews to nursing management/medical directors as needed
• Assist nurses with post‑op recovery and discharging patients, including documenting vitals and providing discharge instructions
• If IV certified, possibly assist with admitting patients for surgery

• State approved Vocational Nursing Diploma/Certificate Program and/or Associate of Science in Vocational Nursing (ASVN)
• Active California LVN License
• Current AHA BLS
