Central Veterinary Hospital is a well‑established veterinary general practice located in the Bay Area. We are searching for two full‑time Veterinary Assistants to join our team in Fremont, CA. We’re offering a competitive hourly rate of $22‑28 per hour based on experience
, along with training/career growth potential and comprehensive benefits.

• Surgical Assisting
• Drawing and running blood work
• X-rays and proper positioning
• Proper animal handling and restraint
• Client Education

• Adhering to hospital standards that keep pets safe, the treatment areas and exam rooms clean and organized
• Support Client Services Representatives
• Understanding the importance of client education
• Assisting the Registered Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians in daily tasks
• Assisting with catheter placement and blood draws
• Assisting with X-rays with proper positioning
• Set up for minor procedures
• Assist in restraint for minor procedures and exams
• Maintenance of laundry and surgical instruments
• Surgery prep and monitoring
• Ability to properly restrain animals and lift up to 40 pounds
