- Develop and implement QA processes to ensure products meet specifications during the development phase.
- Provide assistance for FA from RMA or address issues raised by clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, production, suppliers) to establish standards, processes, and guidelines that promote quality.
- Conduct risk assessments and process audits to identify potential quality issues early in the production lifecycle.
- Implement preventive measures and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to minimize defects and enhance product quality.
- Work with design and engineering teams to ensure design validation and product testing are integrated early in the product lifecycle.
- Conduct inspections and tests of products to identify quality issues during or after production.
- Develop and maintain QC checklists, test plans, and inspection procedures for materials, components, and finished products.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications.
- Perform root cause analysis for defects and ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that raw materials meet the required quality standards through supplier audits and inspections.
- Maintain detailed records of test results, inspections, and non-conformance reports.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and drive process enhancements that lead to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved product quality.
- Conduct statistical analysis and report on key quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, process capability) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Authorized working in USA without sponsorship (Citizen /Green Card holder)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, including UL certification and IEC 60950 / IEC 62368, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, tools, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC).
- Experience with inspection techniques (manual and automated), including testing software and equipment.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently to ensure product quality.
- Certification in quality assurance or control (e.g., ASQ, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) is a plus.
- Bilingual in English & Mandarin is plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills for quality evaluation and issue resolution.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex processes and documentation requirements
