We are looking for a skilled Chemical Operator to join our team. You will play a crucial role in operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting reactors and related process equipment. This position offers the chance to work in a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth.
Job TitleChemical Process Technician
Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot reactors, mixing tanks, and related process equipment.
- Perform batch preparation, including media formulation, sterilization, and inoculation procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of process parameters, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Assist in scale‑up and validation of new processes and equipment.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs with engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, and safety protocols.
- Support process optimization initiatives to improve yield, efficiency, and reliability.
- Collaborate with R&D, QA/QC, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Perform sampling and basic analytical testing (pH, conductivity, turbidity).
- Participate in clean‑in‑place (CIP) and sterilize‑in‑place (SIP) procedures.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and chemical handling/mixing.
- Experience working with chemical reactors, tanks, or drums.
- Ability to read and follow SOPs.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom or regulated environment.
Contract to Hire, Fremont, CA.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour.
