  • Execute daily NGS lab operations, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and high‑quality outputs
  • Evaluate and improve existing workflows to enhance efficiency, scalability, and turnaround time
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with bioinformatics, operations, and quality teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Document SOPs, validation reports, and process updates in compliance with quality standards
  • Train and mentor lab staff on new workflows and best practices
Qualifications Required
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biotechnology, or related field
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience in an NGS laboratory environment
  • Strong expertise in NGS library preparation techniques (e.g., WGS, RNA-seq, targeted panels, etc.)
  • Experience in workflow optimization, assay development, or process improvement
  • Familiarity with sequencing platforms (e.g., Illumina, Pac Bio, Oxford Nanopore)
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent documentation and communication abilities
Preferred
  • Experience on‑boarding new assays or services in a clinical or commercial lab setting
  • Knowledge of quality systems (CLIA, CAP, GLP, or similar)
  • Exposure to automation platforms for library preparation
  • Basic understanding of NGS bioinformatic analysis workflows
