Pape’ Machinery, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is looking for a Rental Territory Manager to join the team. This role focuses on promoting the short-term rental fleet to customers in the assigned territory and supporting the Regional Rental Manager with timely documentation and coordination.

As our Rental Territory Manager, you will report to and assist the Regional Rental Manager with requested tasks. Your primary focus will be to actively promote the short-term rental fleet to customers in your territory. You will collaborate with the Regional Rental Manager to coordinate rental opportunities and ensure the timely submission of all required documentation.

Each day you will spend a minimum of 80% of your time calling on customers, either independently or with Territory Managers, and review and process all incoming rental leads within 24 hours of receipt. You will focus on building relationships with re-rental partners and other companies to increase department revenue through re-rentals, monitor fleet usage to identify under-utilized units, and manage time and territory to achieve rental department goals.

• Proven sales experience, preferably in the heavy equipment industry.
• Knowledge and experience of heavy equipment preferred. John Deere knowledge and experience is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience of equipment rentals is ideal.
• Excellent customer relations skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.
