Milestone Technologies is seeking an experienced Client Partner for our mid‑market portfolio to join our growing team. This role is a critical member of the global sales team and will report directly to the VP Sales for Northern California. Responsibilities include executing account strategy and sales pursuits to accelerate growth across various service lines.

How You Make An Impact

In partnership with the Milestone extended team—service delivery, finance, talent acquisition, and executive management—you will collaborate to drive Milestone's solutions in the marketplace. You will be a trusted adviser and partner to prospective and existing clients, focusing on penetrating greenfield/new‑logo accounts and building your own pipeline to meet or exceed sales expectations. Successful sales of high‑revenue technology solutions within the payments sector are required, as is representing Milestone services clearly to business leaders at all levels.

Successful candidates will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

What You Need To Succeed
  • Minimum of 8+ years of sales experience and/or account management, with at least half of that experience selling IT Managed and Professional Services. Payments experience is required.
  • Demonstrated track record of selling managed services to mid‑market/emerging accounts with a cumulative Total Contract Value (TCV) of $5 million.
  • Skilled in governing all aspects of the sales process, including cross‑functional areas such as IT operations, finance, and HR.
  • Ability to conduct insightful conversations with client executives that elevate discussions from tactical to solution‑centric consultancy.
  • Experienced in building solid client relationships, identifying key influencers, and acquiring critical information about budgets, buying processes, competitors, and decision criteria.
  • Proven ability to sell complex services that span multiple service lines, geographies, and delivery methodologies.
  • Strong experience managing all stages of the sales cycle and closing enterprise deals.
  • Proficiency with standard sales tools, research, and prospecting tools.
  • Capability to develop comprehensive plans, including account mapping and addressable market analyses.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT service aspects: delivery structures, staffing, KPI/SLA, IT infrastructure library, reporting and analytics.
  • Strong San Francisco/Bay Area network.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Recognized success as a top‑producing salesperson.
Compensation

Estimated Pay Range: $180,000 to $215,000 base salary + commission.
