Job Description

Dealer Account Manager – Remote and on the road.

As a Dealer Account Manager, you will educate, train, and support current and prospective dealer partners. You will manage the full sales cycle, propose financing solutions, and maintain strong relationships within your assigned local market.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare presentations/proposals for independent and franchise dealerships.
  • Identify and contact sales prospects within the assigned territory.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from field activity.
  • Develop, maintain and grow dealer partner relationships.
  • Conduct regular phone and in‑person visits to train partners on current programs and funding requirements.
  • Provide solutions, restructure vehicle loans, and ensure approvals that benefit Westlake and the dealer.
  • Assist with sales contract preparation and verification processes.
  • Keep sales materials current and maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in automotive finance and sales (required).
  • 1–2 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • College degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new technology quickly.
  • Goal‑oriented with a desire for improvement and career advancement.
  • Experience working with Dealer Track, Route One, or CUDL (beneficial).
  • Previous outside sales experience (preferred).
  • Valid state driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
Benefits

Target first‑year income: $60,000.00 – $, with performance‑based commissions and a minimum base that can grow over time. Full‑time benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long‑term disability, FSA, 401(k) matching, employee stock ownership, wellness programs, and more.

Earnings Overview
  • $5,000 monthly base starting in the first year.
  • Monthly vehicle mileage reimbursement average of $450.00.
