Sales Associate

Overview

Lens Crafters, part of Essilor Luxottica, directs state‑of‑the‑art technology with a personal approach to eye care. The role of a Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear, delivering the best experience to patients and customers in each store.

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilize optical prescription to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help them choose the perfect vision solution.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with the optician as needed.
• Actively participate and contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff (Target Host partners).
• Take pride in store appearance, displaying initiative to keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Help foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems, computers, calculators, basic phone and math skills.
• Embrace new technology and change with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
• Self‑motivator with a demonstrated ability to multi‑task; ability to respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.

$18.36 - $25.69 per hour.

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
