We're seeking a Business Development Director in the San Francisco Bay Area to drive strategic growth for a nationally recognized employee‑owned general contractor.

This leadership opportunity is ideal for a business development professional who enjoys building trusted partnerships, influencing pursuit strategy and collaborating with operations and precon teams to drive long‑term growth.
You will develop and strengthen relationships with owners, developers, architects, brokers and industry partners while identifying new opportunities, leading pursuit strategies, collaborating on proposals and interviews and partnering with operations and precon teams to secure new work across multiple commercial market sectors.
Desired Skills and Experience- 10+ years of experience preferably with a Top ENR GC
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proven success originating new business and developing long‑term client relationships
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
- Professional business acumen with the ability to influence executive‑level clients and industry partners
