About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Business Development / Account Manager to support next-generation data center power architectures, with a focus on in-rack power conversion (48V–50V to 12V) and board-level power distribution
.

In this role, you will work closely with semiconductor partners, internal engineering teams, and leading hyperscale cloud providers to drive adoption of advanced power solutions in Open Rack and Open Compute Project (OCP)-aligned environments.

The ideal candidate combines expertise in power electronics, familiarity with the semiconductor ecosystem, and strong customer-facing business development experience.

Key Responsibilities Customer & Account Management
  • Serve as the primary technical and business interface for hyperscale data center customers.
  • Support Open Rack Unit (ORU) in-rack power initiatives, including power shelf and busbar distribution strategies.
  • Translate customer requirements into product roadmaps and successful design wins.
Technical Business Development
  • Drive adoption of advanced 48V-to-12V DC-DC power conversion solutions, including:
    • Intermediate Bus Converters (IBC)
    • Bus Converters / Direct Conversion (DCX)
    • Point-of-Load (POL) architectures
  • Identify and develop opportunities in rack-level and board-level power distribution.
Semiconductor Ecosystem Engagement
  • Build strategic relationships with semiconductor partners, including:
    • Power controller and PMIC vendors
    • GaN and SiC device manufacturers
  • Collaborate on reference designs and co-engineered solutions utilizing:
    • Digital power controllers (PMBus-enabled)
    • Multiphase buck converters
    • High-efficiency GaN-based power conversion technologies
  • Support development and positioning of:
    • 48V power shelves and rectifiers
    • Busbar-based rack distribution systems
    • 12V intermediate power rails for CPU, GPU, and ASIC workloads
  • Contribute to Open Compute Project (OCP)-aligned designs, including Open Rack standards.
  • Monitor industry trends, including:
    • Transition from 12V to 48V data center architectures
    • AI and machine learning-driven increases in rack power density
  • Provide competitive analysis and identify opportunities for new products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to support strategic growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Data center power systems
    • Semiconductor or power IC ecosystem
    • Technical sales or business development for power solutions
  • Strong understanding of:
    • DC-DC conversion topologies (Buck, LLC, IBC, Multiphase)
    • 48V data center architectures
    • Rack-level power distribution and design
  • Experience working with hyperscale cloud providers or enterprise data center customers.
  • Excellent customer engagement, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong ability to bridge technical engineering discussions with business objectives.
  • Experience collaborating across engineering, product management, sales, and marketing teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Open Compute Project (OCP) standards.
  • Experience with board-level power design for CPUs, GPUs, or ASICs.
  • Knowledge of:
    • PMBus and digital power management
    • Thermal optimization for high-density computing environments
    • High-efficiency power conversion technologies
  • Existing relationships within the hyperscale cloud or data center ecosystem are highly desirable.
