ResponsibilitiesAcquire new target customers, deliver proposal and work through deployment from sample to MP with coordinated Hyve team.
Focus on building solid relationships within defined accounts to achieve sales quotas and profitability forecasts.
Designs and executes sales account business plans by implementing short and long-term sales strategies.
Develops, drives programs and promotions within the accounts to increase profitable sales.
Recommend new configurations and solutions to support customer specific requirements.
Partner with vendors to sample to sample evaluation units, understand technical applications and validate hardware/software solutions.
Delivers presentations and develops key business relationships internal and external to the business.
Facilitates programs and promotions key to increasing account activity and opportunity.
Plays a key role in increasing market share for the company's products and services.
May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
Prepares and presents management reports.
Understands complex integration solution sales strategies.
QualificationsRequires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related area, and a minimum of 7 years of directly sales and/or business development related experience in the field. A majority of experience spent actively selling to major accounts with a well-developed contact list.
A solid understanding of marketing and/or business management is also essential in this position. Solid knowledge and understanding of the interfaces and interrelationships between sales, technical spec, product development and business development functions.
Proven track record in closing business.
Solid project management skills, including the ability to multi-task.
Familiarity with industry and market best practices.
Be able to demonstrate computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Business communication skills, particularly facilitation, negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to travel when needed. Maintains clean driving record.
Ability to work independently with minimum of supervision.
