Position Title: Manufacturing Equipment Account Manager
The Manufacturing Equipment Account Manager is a senior-level sales professional responsible for managing key West Coast customer accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities. Based primarily in Fremont, this individual will build relationships with customers throughout Silicon Valley and the broader West Coast, sell high-value semiconductor manufacturing equipment, coordinate with internal engineering and service teams, and represent the organization at customer sites and industry trade shows.
This is an individual contributor position with significant ownership over the territory and customer relationships.
The ideal candidate brings 5-7 years of semiconductor or capital equipment sales experience, a proactive approach to business development, and the ability to confidently navigate technical, high-value sales conversations.
Salary Range
: $125,000 - $140,000 / annually, DOE
- Manage and grow major customer accounts throughout Silicon Valley and the broader West Coast territory
- Build strong relationships with engineering managers, procurement leaders, plant managers, sales contacts, and other key customer stakeholders
- Develop new business through proactive outreach, relationship building, cold calling, and strategic territory development
- Sell high-value semiconductor manufacturing equipment through a consultative, technically informed sales approach
- Partner with internal engineering and service teams to coordinate equipment installations, service needs, and customer support
- Conduct customer site visits and maintain consistent communication throughout the sales and account management lifecycle
- Collaborate with senior leadership and represent the company at trade shows and industry events
- 5-7 years of experience in semiconductor, capital equipment, technical equipment sales, or a closely related field
- Proven ability to manage established accounts while proactively developing new customer relationships
- Experience selling complex, high-value technical products or equipment
- Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to understand customer needs and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders
- Self-directed, proactive approach with the confidence to ask questions, solve problems, and operate without a heavily structured KPI environment
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and customer-facing skills
- Ability to travel to customer sites throughout Silicon Valley and the West Coast as needed
