Position: Unarmed Patrol/SOC Operator - 3rd Shift - Full Time

Job Overview

Prosegur Security is seeking highly professional and customer service–focused Patrol/SOC Hybrid Officers for a premier client site in Fremont, CA. This position combines physical patrol duties with security operations center (SOC) responsibilities, including alarm monitoring, camera surveillance, and access control management.

This role requires a balance of excellent customer service skills and the ability to confidently operate security technology, including Lenel 9000, alarm panels, and camera systems. Officers are expected to maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times, including proper uniform wear as outlined in company grooming standards — such as tucked shirts, neat attire, and overall presentation.

Job Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
  • Perform regular interior and exterior patrols to deter and detect safety hazards or security risks.
  • Operate the SOC, monitoring camera systems, alarm systems, and the Lenel 9000 access control system.
  • Manage access permissions, track badge activity, and monitor site security systems in real time.
  • Accurately document incidents, patrol logs, and SOC activity reports.
  • Respond to alarms, radio calls, and electronic alerts with urgency and professionalism.
  • Answer phone calls from interior guard posts, employees, and clients, and dispatch appropriate responses.
  • Initiate escalation and notification procedures when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other security team members and site leadership to resolve incidents and ensure operational continuity.
  • Always maintain a professional and service‑oriented demeanor when assisting employees, visitors, and contractors.

Qualifications
  • Must have a valid California Security Guard License.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are absolutely required.
  • Minimum 1 year of security experience.
  • Dispatch/SOC experience preferred but not required.
  • Comfortable with technology, including cameras, alarm panels.
  • Lenel 9000 experience is a plus.
  • Alarm and camera monitoring is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and operate multiple security systems confidently with provided training.
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, including during varied weather conditions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to stay calm and think clearly during emergencies or high‑pressure situations.
  • Dependable, reliable, and committed to ethical conduct.
