Security Professional - Armed Patrols in Fremont, CA at Allied Universal®. This role involves patrolling assigned areas, providing customer service, and ensuring safety in a dynamic tech environment.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $28.70 / Hour

• Thursday: 2:00PM – 10:00PM
• Friday: 10:00PM – 6:00AM

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas, as required by the location.
• Assist in deterring unauthorized access and suspicious activity through visible presence and patrols.
• Document and report security‑related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement when necessary to address incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and adapt patrol routes or response as needed based on the unique needs of a technology‑focused location.

• At least 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, or military in an armed capacity.
• Valid California Armed Security Professional License (CA: Armed SP Lic).
• California Weapons Permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
• Armed Designation, including proficiency with sidearm, baton, handcuffs, and pepper spray.
• Complete Firearms Annual Inspection, Acknowledgement, and Annual Requalification Training (can be completed post‑hire).
• Minimum age of 21 years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required only for driving positions.
