As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Incident Logging in Fremont, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $25.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a technology facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, technology areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations through clear and accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal and designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
