Security Officer – Warehouse Job Summary

Hammer Head Security is seeking dependable and professional Security Officers to support daily security operations at a warehouse facility in Fremont. This position is responsible for routine site patrols, checkpoint verification, access monitoring, safety observations, communication with the security team, and accurate activity reporting.

The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive to detail, comfortable working independently, and able to follow established site procedures in a busy warehouse environment.

• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of assigned areas.
• Complete required QR checkpoint scans and patrol documentation.
• Check designated entrances, exits, access doors, dock areas, and restricted areas.
• Verify designated doors and access points are secured according to site procedures.
• Observe warehouse and storage areas for unusual activity or conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor general site conditions and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Conduct additional inspections when weather or site conditions require.
• Notify Dispatch of security, safety, maintenance, or other site-related concerns.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and other required documentation accurately and timely.
• Follow all company policies, client requirements, and site-specific post orders.

• Complete required radio checks at the beginning of each shift.
• Maintain professional communication with Dispatch and other assigned security personnel.
• Report communication equipment issues promptly.
• Provide clear and accurate shift pass-down information.
• Respond appropriately to routine site issues and emergency situations.
• Maintain a professional presence while interacting with employees, visitors, and other authorized personnel.

• Previous security or warehouse experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Ability to perform regular foot patrols throughout the assigned facility.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic smartphone, QR scanning, and radio communication skills.
• Ability to document observations accurately.
• Ability to remain attentive and respond appropriately to changing site conditions.
• Valid California Guard Card required.
