Compensation

$25.75 per hour

AM and PM Shifts

This role will provide amazing guest service while maintaining the full operational functionality of the building. You and the entire engineering team are responsible for the repair, service, and preventative maintenance of all things within and outside of the hotel building. Taking pride and passion for your work and working within a team.

Essential Job Functions
  • Perform general repairs and services in all maintenance related disciplines, including but not limited to carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, minor electrical, finish work, etc.
  • Prioritize work orders through urgent requests and established hotel area down times to minimize inconveniencing guests.
  • Effectively interact with department managers.
  • Respond to guest room calls.
  • Complete all assigned preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Adhere to hotel safety standards.
  • Perform other duties and handle projects as assigned by Manager.
  • Assist other departmental craft workers as required.
  • Perform all duties required as Fire Alarm Response Team.
  • Participate in OSHA/Safety programs within the hotel through awareness in everyday job functions and participate on the Hotel’s Emergency Evacuation Team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Experience in HVAC, plumbing, painting, pool care.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to follow directions.
Physical Demands
  • Lift, push, pull, rotate 50 lbs or more.
  • Manual dexterity to operate and grasp tools.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Standing and walking up to a full 8 hours a day.
Qualifications Education
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Trade school or General Maintenance/Technician certification a plus.
Experience
  • One year of experience in general maintenance and repair work at hotels (preferred).
  • One year of experience in general maintenance and repair work required.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Safety and Chemical Standards.
