Job Description
Cintas is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician in Training for our Fire Protection business. This position provides valuable work experience in the service, inspection and repair of fire alarms. An extensive training program will be provided by a qualified technician. When qualified, responsibilities include conducting service calls, systems testing and inspections to the prescribed standards; performing on‑site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of our customers’ fire alarms;
identifying code issues and non‑conformance issues; preparing accurate and timely service reports; and installing fire alarms.

- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to be available on‑call when scheduled
Preferred:
- Experience in the Fire Protection industry
- Experience with trades such as HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing

CompensationA reasonable estimate of total compensation for this role ranges between $45,000 and $70,000 per year. This consists of a base salary plus earned commissions and is dependent on various factors including skill set, experience, training, performance and other business needs.
