Construction Laborer

Aerotek is hiring several construction laborers to decommission a car manufacturing plant located in Fremont, CA. The pay is $28-$32 an hour, depending on the shift and position.

Location:

Fremont, CA (Old Tesla Plant)

Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

Hours:

10 hour shifts | 12 hour shifts | 16 hour shift

Description:

• Assist in setting up and testing rigging lines, pulleys, hoists, and pulling gear to support heavy equipment.
• Anchoring & Leveling:
  Assist with the precise alignment, leveling, and anchoring of heavy machinery.
• Load Management:
  Attach loads to rigging and signal/direct operators to ensure safety.
• Site Preparation:
  Clean and prepare work sites, lay bracing, erect scaffolding, and build support forms.
• Equipment Use:
  Handle a variety of hand and power tools (e.g., jackhammers, laser levels, skid steers).

Requirements:

• 2+ years of construction experience
• Experience with power and hand tools
• Must have steel-toed boots and hard hat

This is a contract position based out of Fremont, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
