Volt is immediately hiring a Facilities Tech in Fremont, CA. As a Facilities Tech, you will:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various properties, such as fixing CCTV cameras, network connections, making network cables, replacing light bulbs, building furniture and equipment, pulling cables, etc.
• Safely operate equipment such as a forklift or lift
• Assist other tradespeople with more complex projects, such as electrical wiring, HVAC installation, plumbing or carpentry work.
• Report any major issues or damages that require further attention or professional intervention.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-moving environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulations when performing tasks.

This is a Full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday from 8am – 4:30pm plus overtime as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Have a good knowledge of different tools and equipment, as well as basic skills in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and blueprints.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
