Foreman Telecom Aerial

Overview

North Sky Communications, LLC seeks a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will serve as the on-site expert, guiding and supporting less experienced team members.

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Ensure work areas are safe and traffic flows smoothly on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Safely use hand tools and power tools such as wrenches, drills, and saws
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance
• Other duties as assigned

• 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver’s license (cannot be Provisional), with an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified
• CDL Class A driver license is preferred

• Routinely
  : work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and remote locations, operate vehicles and heavy machinery, use ladders, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift objects greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally
  : use keyboard and mouse
