Per Diem (Variable)
Pay Range: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour DOE

What You’ll Do
  • Assess the needs of pupils with speech or language disorders and match them with programs available through the educational system.
  • Report progress to faculty members and meet with them regularly to discuss their evaluations of students' skills as demonstrated in class performance and social interaction with other students.
  • Develop individual speech and language programs based upon assessment results.
  • Participate in the eligibility and planning required for development of the IEP when a communication disorder is present.
  • Repeat evaluations on a regular basis to measure progress according to professional guidelines.
  • Create and access multiple types of databases; utilize internet‑based IEP document programs (such as Special Education Information Systems‑SEIS or SIRAS); create documents using MS Office PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Travel to school sites within the assigned region.
  • Attend IEP meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
  • Valid California SLP License / CTC Credential or eligibility for a state waiver.
  • Valid license/RPE issued by the Speech‑Language Pathology and Audiology Board, California.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license or ability to obtain transportation between job sites.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
