Responsibilities

Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant
Location: In‑facility
Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab

  • Implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments to help patients get well.
  • Provide healing and hands‑on support, addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual.
  • Execute programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ physical abilities and independence.
  • Adapt to patient needs and find enjoyment in the variety of work settings.
  • Collaborate with peers and refer patients for additional care when needed.
  • Prioritize patient‑centered care, ensuring patients and families receive the highest quality service in a caring and compassionate environment.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
  • Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Lifelong licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
  • Salary

    USD $53.00 - $58.00 / Hr.
