What to Expect
We are seeking a skilled and collaborative Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development of data pipelines, data warehousing, and reporting infrastructure to support the growth of field Quality and Remanufacturing team.
As a key member of our team, you will design, build, and maintain large-scale data systems to combine data from various data sources, including manufacturing, internal applications, and other data warehouses. Your work will contribute to our understanding of key business performance indicators, informing data‑driven decisions to optimize our strategies and drive decision making for all our products. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including service operations, reman operations and quality engineering to maximize quality of our products.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Design and implement automated data solutions to support various business teams such as Manufacturing, Field Quality and Remanufacturing
- Design and implement robust data storage and management systems, leveraging relational databases, No
SQL databases, and graph databases to support diverse data needs - Work effectively with engineers and conduct end‑to‑end analyses, from data requirement gathering, to data processing and modeling
- Analyze service and vehicle data to extract actionable insights, identify field failure trends, and drive product improvements
- Write, maintain and optimize scripts, processes and jobs that will be used by analytics and reporting solutions
- Architect and implement data pipelines and automation systems to streamline data retrieval, processing, analysis, and visualization, ensuring efficient handling of batch and real‑time data
- Design and refine data models by following best practices and techniques using most effective approaches for reporting and analytics such as star schema
- Identify slow‑running processes and bottlenecks, troubleshoot problems, research and resolve issues
- Stay up to date with latest trends in data engineering, experiment with new tools, services, technologies and real‑time processing frameworks
- Set high technical bar not just for yourself but for entire team, leading by example in coding standards, documentation and best practices
- 5+ years of experience focusing on providing automations and data solutions
- Deep SQL expertise and very good understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Vertica, etc.)
- Experience in data warehousing, including data modeling (dimensional/star/snowflake), large‑scale data processing and enterprise warehouse design and maintenance
- Solid understanding of large language models (LLMs) and their application in enterprise solutions
- Python proficiency with experience improving, refactoring, and building efficient data pipelines and API
- Ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable and scalable deployments
- Proficiency with Docker, Git, and modern engineering best practices
- Experience delivering insights with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.
- Familiarity with distributed systems (Kafka, Spark, Iceberg) and No

$120,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
