Senior Automation Engineer – Hybrid, CI​/CD & API Testing

This position is available exclusively on a direct W2 basis and does not offer visa sponsorship or transfers at this time.

Location:

Hybrid. Candidates can choose to work out of either our Fremont, CA or Charlotte, NC hub (2 days onsite / 3 days remote).

What You’ll Do

Architect Frameworks: Design, build, and scale automated testing frameworks from scratch for web, mobile apps, and backend APIs.

Act as a Tech Anchor: Provide tooling direction, establish quality processes, and lead hands-on scripting standards across cross-functional engineering teams.

Drive CI/CD Quality Gates: Seamlessly integrate test execution loops directly into modern pipeline infrastructures to shorten developer feedback loops.

Validate at Scale: Conduct performance, load, and security testing awareness validations to ensure highly reliable, scalable digital products.

What You Bring

Core Coding Depth: Strong programming proficiency in Type Script combined with hands-on exposure to modern languages like Go (Golang), Kotlin, or Swift.

Automation Toolkit: Deep, practical experience with modern automated testing engines (Cypress, Selenium) and robust unit-testing libraries (JUnit, TestNG).

Architectural Exposure: Proven experience testing complex API layers, web services, mobile environments, and backend systems.

Performance & Devops: Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Load Runner) and seamless CI/CD pipeline integrations.

Process Mastery: Expert-level capability in test planning, test data strategy, defect tracking (Jira/Bugzilla), and shift-left quality processes.
