Backend Developer (Golang) – Fremont, CA (Onsite 5 Days/Week)

Location: Fremont, CA (Local Bay Area Candidates Only)

Duration: 6–12 Months Contract

We are looking for a Backend Developer with 6+ Years of strong hands-on Experience as a Golang developer to join a high-impact engineering team building scalable, distributed backend systems. This is a 100% onsite role in Fremont, CA
, so local Bay Area candidates are strongly preferred.

• Design and develop scalable, distributed backend systems using Golang
• Implement REST APIs and gRPC services
• Work with Distributed Systems and Microservices architecture
• Utilize Kafka, Redis, MySQL, and MongoDB for data storage and processing
• Optimize system performance and ensure fault tolerance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Contribute to system design, data structures, and algorithms
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments

• 6–8+ years of backend software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Golang
• Hands-on experience with Distributed Systems & Microservices
• Experience with REST APIs and gRPC
• Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, MySQL, and MongoDB
• Strong System Design, Data Structures & Algorithms skills
• Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant backend services

• Proficiency in C#, Java, or C++
• Experience with Elasticsearch and Click House
• Knowledge of Python
• Experience optimizing high-throughput distributed systems
