Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer with extensive experience in S/4 Conversion and Migration. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of functional aspects of S/4, particularly in the context of data migration and system conversion. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead complex software development projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions focused on S/4 Conversion and Migration.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and data to develop effective migration strategies.
• Oversee the execution of data migration processes, ensuring data integrity and compliance with business standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
• Participate in project planning and status meetings, providing updates on progress and addressing any challenges.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to S/4 and software development methodologies.

Mandatory

Skills:

• Strong functional knowledge of S/4 Conversion and Migration processes.
• Proven experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Expertise in data mapping, data cleansing, and data validation techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to software development (e.g., ABAP, Java, etc.).
• Experience with SAP tools and technologies related to migration and conversion.

Preferred

Skills:

• Familiarity with cloud based solutions and integration with S/4 systems.
• Experience in Agile and Dev Ops methodologies.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 for front end development.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on S/4 Conversion and Migration.
• Relevant certifications in SAP S/4
  
  HANA or related technologies are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
