Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) reports to the Program and Operations Managers, receiving guidance from the client’s or HQ’s Transportation Management Team. The CSR provides exceptional customer service, responds to transportation requests and queries, and monitors shuttle and tram services.

Note: This position requires standing outside for prolonged periods—up to 8 hours or more daily.

This is a split shift position, suitable for either one full-time employee or two part-time candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Direct commuters to correct buses, providing ETA and route information as needed.
  • Respond to questions regarding services and communicate route or service changes.
  • Monitor vendor and operational equipment to ensure passenger safety and report concerns.
  • Ensure all bus routes operate effectively to meet client needs.
  • Manage passenger flow, ensuring social distancing protocols are followed.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures for passengers.
  • Troubleshoot shuttle signage, barriers, and staging issues in real-time.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills and Physical Demands
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work split shifts and adaptable hours.
  • Ability to stand outside for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of GPS tracking, vehicle dispatch, and radio communication.
  • Additional skills and physical requirements may be necessary.
Qualifications

Required: 2 years of customer service experience.

Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent.
