Dispatcher Fremont, Ca – Job Description
The Dispatcher coordinates daily delivery operations, assigns routes, and supports drivers to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries. This role requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Dispatch and monitor drivers based on schedules and customer needs
- Track routes, resolve delays, and provide real-time support
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse teams, and customer service
- Maintain delivery logs, route updates, and driver activity records
- Use dispatching software, GPS tools, and communication systems
- Handle incoming calls and emails related to deliveries
- Assist with route planning and load assignments
- Ensure compliance with safety and transportation regulations
- Experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient with computers, GPS tools, and Microsoft/Google applications
- Ability to multitask and make quick decisions
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience supporting delivery or fleet operations
