Seeking an experienced Audit Manager to oversee audit and assurance engagements for a diverse client base. This key leadership role manages audits from planning through completion while working closely with other departments to deliver integrated, high-quality client service.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, organized, and open to using modern tools and methods that enhance accuracy, collaboration, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations
• Oversee engagement planning, fieldwork, and reporting
• Review staff work for accuracy, compliance, and technical quality
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness
• Partner with tax and advisory teams to ensure seamless client service
• Provide support to other firm areas, including tax and advisory work, particularly during audit downtime or tax season, to maintain balanced workloads and continuous client value
• Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen efficiency and client experience
Qualifications
• Active CPA license required
• 7+ years of public accounting experience, including leading audit engagements
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and risk-based auditing
• Proven ability to train, supervise, and develop staff
• Experience collaborating across multiple service lines
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office; exposure to cloud-based systems preferred
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
