Responsibilities:
- Direct audit, review, and compilation engagements for a range of clients, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Coordinate each phase of engagements, including scoping, scheduling, fieldwork oversight, and preparation of final reports.
- Evaluate work completed by team members to confirm accuracy, adherence to high standards, and overall technical soundness.
- Build and sustain trusted client relationships by communicating clearly, addressing questions promptly, and anticipating service needs.
- Work closely with tax and advisory professionals to deliver an integrated client experience across multiple service areas.
- Contribute to tax and advisory assignments during slower audit periods or peak seasonal demands to support firm-wide workload balance.
- Recommend and apply practical process enhancements that improve engagement efficiency and strengthen the client experience. Requirements - 7+ years of public accounting or audit experience, including leadership responsibility for assurance engagements.
- Active CPA designation required; additional credentials such as CISA are valued.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations within a public accounting environment.
- Strong understanding of audit compliance, operational audit practices, and annual internal and external audit activities.
- Experience with information systems auditing, IT general controls, Sarbanes-Oxley testing, or related control environments is a plus.
- Proven ability to supervise, coach, and review the work of audit staff and seniors effectively.
- Excellent client communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting.
