• Develop detailed mechanical designs, drawings, and schematics using CAD software
• Collaborate closely with engineers and fabricators to create designs that are manufacturable, cost‑efficient, and aligned with project goals
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations to verify design performance, strength, and integrity
• Participate in design reviews, incorporate feedback, and continuously refine designs
• Assist with material selection, component sourcing, and manufacturing processes
• Provide technical guidance during fabrication and assembly to resolve design‑related issues
• Maintain accurate design documentation, including specifications, bills of materials, and revision histories
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements
• Stay current with advancements in mechanical design, materials, and manufacturing technologies to drive innovation

• Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in Autocad or similar CAD software in a machine and fabrication environment
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with industry standards, codes, safety regulations, and design documentation (BOMs, revision control)
• Proficiency in CAD for detailed design and drawing creation
• Strong problem‑solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• On‑site position at our Fremont, NE location (not remote)
• Background check and drug screen required
