Good Neighbor Community Health Center is hiring a Behavioral Health Therapist to join our Federal Qualified Health Center (FQHC) integrated care team serving communities on or near Hwy 30 in East-Central Nebraska. This position offers meaningful clinical work, strong team support, and reasonable expectations in a community health center setting.
This role is a good fit for a licensed or provisionally licensed therapist who values patient-centered care, collaboration, and long-term sustainability.
What You’ll Do- Provide outpatient mental health therapy to children, adolescents, and adults
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver services in person and via telehealth
- Collaborate with medical providers and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR
- Coordinate referrals and community resources as needed
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
- Active Nebraska license in good standing, including one of the following:
- LMHP
- PLMHP
- LIMHP
- LCSW / PLCSW
- Two or more years of clinical counseling experience
- Experience in outpatient, community-based, or integrated care settings
- Spanish speaking preferred but not required
- Willingness to travel between clinic sites
