Physical Therapy Assistant

JOB SUMMARY

Provide physical therapy services to patients under the direction of a Physical Therapist. Assist patients in regaining strength, mobility, and their overall quality of life through therapeutic exercises and treatments.

• Implement established treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists.
• Instruct and assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safety measures.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Variable shifts may be available.

• Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility setting is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Proficient in therapeutic exercise techniques.
