The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment in a food manufacturing facility. This role ensures that products are produced efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality and food safety standards.

• Set up,operate, and adjust food processing and packaging machinery according to production requirements
• Monitor equipment performance to ensure consistent product quality and output
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on machines
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report major malfunctions to maintenance or supervisors
• Follow all food safety regulations, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and sanitation procedures
• Maintainaccurateproduction records, logs, and reports
• Ensure proper handling, measuring, and loading of raw materials
• Keep work area clean and organize din accordance with sanitation standards
• Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and quality control staff
• Adhere to all workplace safety policies and procedures

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability tooperatemachinery
• Ability to read and follow instructions, recipes, and safety guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Reliability and punctuality

• Ability to stand forlong periods(up to 8–12 hours)
• Capableoflifting upto
  50lbs
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot/cold environments depending on area)
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion
• Food manufacturing/processing facility
• Exposure to machinery noise, temperature changes, and food production materials
• May require shift work, including nights, weekends, and overtime

• Certifications (e.g., forklift, food safety training) may be a plus
• Opportunities for advancement into supervisor, or technician roles
