Make Lives Better, Enrich Your Own:
Join The Heritage at Shalimar Gardens as a Volunteer Greeter!
When you volunteer at Heritage Communities, you're stepping into a vibrant community where your efforts make a genuine difference. We believe in supporting and celebrating our volunteers, providing a warm, welcoming space where you can share your unique talents, connect with wonderful people, and find meaningful purpose in brightening someone's day.
What You’ll DoAs a Volunteer, you'll play a hands‑on role in improving the lives of our residents. We assign all tasks based on your comfort and preferences, ensuring a rewarding experience. Your engaging contributions can include:
- Serving as a friendly face at our front entrance to greet residents and guests as they enter the community.
- Providing a warm welcome and engaging in light, social conversation with everyone who walks through our doors.
- Dedicating 2–3 hours Monday through Friday to being a smiling, consistent presence for our residents and visitors.
We’re looking for volunteers who are kind, patient, reliable, and eager to share their time and talents. Additionally, they must meet certain criteria to ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone at Heritage Communities:
- Are at least 18 years old to visit residents (volunteers under 18 can visit with a parent or guardian).
- Can successfully complete a satisfactory background check before starting duties.
At Heritage Communities, with 24 locations across 6 states, you’ll find a place to make a meaningful impact every day. More than just a chance for community service, volunteering with us will fill your cup just as much as it fills ours, creating a deeply rewarding experience for everyone involved.
