Full‑time, permanent Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position in Show Low, Arizona, with 12‑hour shifts on a 24‑bed Med Surg unit.

Position OverviewPermanent, full‑time; 12‑hour shifts; 24‑bed Med Surg unit with telemetry capability on all beds; heavy telemetry patient population; ability to float across Med Surg units and ICU (Med Surg level patients only). Supportive, team‑oriented clinical environment.
Compensation & IncentivesPay range: $31.00 – $48.00 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to adult Med Surg and telemetry patients.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms.
- Perform neurological assessments and respond to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Float to other Med Surg units and ICU as needed (Med Surg level patients).
- Provide pediatric care only if PALS certified.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR.
- Ensure adherence to patient safety and quality standards.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
- Strong neuro and cardiac clinical skills.
- Experience in Med Surg and Telemetry settings.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to floating.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- PALS certification (preferred; required for pediatric assignments).
24‑bed Med Surg unit with telemetry capability on all beds.
Nurse‑to‑Patient Ratios- Days: 1:5
- Nights: 1:6
- Pediatrics: 1:4 (based on acuity)
Patient population:
Adults and Pediatrics (peds assigned based on certification).
Support staff includes telemetry techs, charge nurses, HUCs, and PCTs. No dedicated IV team. Nurse managers provide oversight and rounding. Hospitalist, Respiratory Therapy, and Pharmacy available 24/7. EMR:
Sunrise Allscripts.
Full‑time: 12‑hour shifts; 36‑hour weekly guarantee (with up to 3 cancellations).
