Job Summary
The Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care to residents. The RN collaborates with residents, families, inter‑disciplinary colleagues and providers to plan, implement and evaluate care. The RN demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing expertise, uses appropriate age and population‑specific standards, and coordinates care, conducts resident assessment and education, and delivers various nursing interventions.
Responsibilities- Provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
- Collaborates with residents, families and inter‑disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care.
- Coordinates care, conducts resident assessment, provides resident education, and implements nursing interventions.
- May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within job descriptions and competency levels.
- Supports delegates to ensure safe, reliable resident care and resolves care and service concerns.
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred);
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. - Possesses an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where nursing is practiced, or multistate licensure under a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
- Demonstrates competency within the scope of nursing practice and adheres to the Nurse Practice Act and related administrative rules.

Shift: 6am – 6pm, rotating weekends and holidays. Scheduled Weekly
