Property Manager

• Ensure all Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations are adhered to.
• Collect and deposit rent within 24 hours of collection, notifying residents of delinquent rent.
• Provide outstanding service to the residents, resolving inquiries, work orders, and requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain and build applicant waiting list.
• Ensure property stays on budget through cost effective practices.
• Conduct initial lease process with certification and annual re-certification for affordable housing, state agency, and government agency programs.
• Pass INSPIRE, state, and government agency inspections while maintaining company standards.
• Ensure that vacant apartments are ready to lease quickly and market those units diligently.
• Process applications for move-in/transfer and forward to Compliance for approval.
• Supervise property staff directly reporting into property manager, including maintenance and housekeeping staff.
• Organize community activities according to the requirements of the property management agreement.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of affordable housing experience with LIHTC, or Section 8
• Solid understanding of Fair Housing
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong competency in Microsoft office suite and familiar with learning new software
• Fair Housing Training (preferred)
• Real Page Onesite Experience (preferred)

Demonstrates expertise in affordable housing regulations, including Fair Housing compliance and LIHTC or Section 8 programs. Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service while managing property operations and staff effectively.
