Salary and Schedule Details

  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $15.00 to $17.00 depending on your skills and experience.
  • Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.

  • This is a Part‑time position with a variable schedule.

  • Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support is required.
Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a Hallmark‑provided mobile device, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory across multiple retail formats. Respond to supervisor communication, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Interact professionally with store staff, management, and customers.
  • Holiday support: Work additional days and extended hours leading up to, during, and following major holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May be required to work on the actual holiday, including weekend dates.
  • Department resets: Participate in installations and various tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Typically notified two weeks in advance, including possible evening or weekend assignments.
  • Team support: Work as part of a network of merchandisers, providing assistance to teammates as needed within assigned territories.
Physical Requirements

This position is physically demanding. You must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the day and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing are required. You may also be required to climb stairs and use step ladders.

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Proficiency with a digital handheld device to access documents and interpret information.
  • Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
